iPhone case maker Otterbox has bought LifeProof for an unknown amount. The news was realed today from both otterbox and lifeproof.Both Otterbox and LifeProof specialize in rugged, water-resistant cases for the iPhone and iPad. LifeProof’s designs are thinner than most of Otterbox’s.LifeProof has been in the iPhone case game since 2011, and the brand will retain its name after the purchase. Hopefully this means that Otterbox cases will start getting sleeker and less bulky. We can only hope.
